Kinetic Typography in After Effects

Kinetic Typography is the animation of text through keyframing. In this video, I demonstrate this skill by rotating, scaling, and applying masks to text and backgrounds to create a lyrical music video for the song "Willin'" by Linda Ronstadt using After Effects. The hardest part of this project for me was syncing up every single lyric to the rhythm of the song, as it was my first time using the software. However, I gained much knowledge about all the different effect controls compared to what  Premier Pro has to offer.
