Parallax Effect
Starting in Photoshop, I created three individual layers of each photo seen in the video above. The first layer is a cutout of the subject of each picture. For example, the cactus, the man behind the chair, and the group of three individuals. This part was done with the object selection tool and was pretty simple, except for images where items blocked the subject or the subject's color pattern was extremely similar to the backdrop. The second layer was just the base background with the subject taken out of the photo. After making a copy from the cut of the first layer, I used the healing tool to fill in the space of the missing subject.
